What would happen if the bees went extinct?

There are people who may think that bees are annoying, that they are useless, that they bother ... do you know that if they become extinct, life on the planet would end?

There are those who attribute to Einstein the phrase that “life without bees would be a global disaster, man would only have four years to live. Without bees, there is no pollination, no grass, no animals, no men. ” That the phrase has been said by the scientist we have not found reliable records that confirm it, but that its content is so real and alarming, of that, there is no doubt.

Although it seems exaggerated, it is a reality. If these insects disappeared, it is little that humanity and other species can face the food crisis that would come to pass.

We cannot say in figures what the effects of the extinction of bees would be, but without a doubt it would be a fairly serious situation; since the number of plant species would be affected, even disappearing completely.

The ecosystems would be altered, as well as the agricultural productions which would have to go through an almost inevitable economic loss, due to the stoppage of their production.

Most fearsome of all, the fact that bees disappear is no longer just a hypothetical case, it has been a reality since 2012, when the population of bees in the United States disappeared by sixty percent after winter.
The causes of the disappearance of these insects are various, from the use of insecticides and climate change, to the presence of invasive species. The truth is that if we want to avoid the disappearance of this important species, it is urgent to change the entire paradigm regarding the environment, especially in agricultural production.
